LAURELS SCHOOL INTERNATIONAL is a private recognized, co-educational, un-aided Christian Minority Institution founded in the year 1989. The school is covered under Section 2 (g) of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act, 2004. Affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) New Delhi, the school prepares its students for the ICSE Examination at Class X level and the ISC Examination at Class XII level.
Laurels School International welcomes students seeking admission from classes Nursery to XII on the basis of merit and seats available.
To be eligible for admission, students must meet the following age requirements:
For Nursery to KG II: The student must fulfill the age requirement as of July 31st of the year in which admission is being sought for
For Class I: The student must fulfill the age requirement as of September 30th of the year in which admission is being sought for
If a student belongs to SC, ST or OBC, the caste certificate should be submitted at the time of admission.
75% attendance is compulsory for the students seeking admission in Classes IX to XII.
Admissions are given on the basis of priority of registration and the results in the Admission Test / Interview. The standard of the admission test is of the level of the Annual Examination of the class preceding to which admission is being sought.
Admission / Registration fee is neither adjusted nor refunded.
Registration of a student does not guarantee admission in Laurels School International.
The Management reserves the right to grant / reject the admission without assigning any reason.
No direct admission is offered to the students to Class X from Education Boards other than the CISCE Board, New Delhi (Council affiliated schools).
Students seeking admission to Classes IX & X from other Council affiliated schools are to observe the guidelines given by the school in accordance with the Council’s rules and regulations from time to time.
Candidates who have been awarded Pass Certificate in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE X) examination with passes in five written subjects including English are eligible for admission to Class XI of the ISC (XII) course for entry to the Indian School Certificate (ISC XII) examination.
Admission to Class XI is also on the basis of the cut off percentage decided by the school after the declaration of Class X results.
Admission to Class XI in respect of candidates from Examination Boards other than the Council is provisional and subject to approval from the Council.
Only Indian Nationals who have attained the GCE (‘O’) / GCSE / IGCSE Level Certificate with the authorization of the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development (Dept. of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education), New Delhi, in five subjects including English at one and the same sitting (examination) are also eligible for admission to class XI of the Indian School Certificate (XII) course.
Students from other Examination Boards / Council affiliated schools other than Laurels School International have to appear and clear the entrance test depending on the subject group opted for.
The last date for admission to Class XI is 31st August of the year.
