Laurels School International organizes Mathematics workshop for teachers
Laurels School International organized a workshop on June 16, 2018 to prepare the Maths teachers for the teaching-learning challenges for the new academic session. Ms. Manjiri Patil, a freelancer from Anand, Gujarat was the resource person for this workshop. In line with her introduction she said that the students should assume and estimate before the actual learning happens. During the workshop, she emphasized on teaching basic skills to the students and also adopting practical approach for better understanding of Mathematical concepts. She stressed on setting up of Maths labs for the primary students. She taught innovative ways of doing simple calculations and use of graph paper for geometrical calculations. The workshop was helpful for all the teachers and was appreciated by all. The vote of thanks was proposed by Vice Principal, Ms. Thara Nair.
