Laurels School International felicitates Madhusudan Patidar
Laurels School International, Talavali Chanda Campus was abuzz with excitement as the students got a golden opportunity to interact with Mr. Madhusudan Patidar the youngest Indian to scale the Mount Everest in May this year .The wanderlust in Madhusudan is obvious, as before this, he set out from Bangalore to Goa by cycle which is recorded in Limca Book of Records.
In his interaction with students, the strong passion that he has for the mountains was very evident. He answered the student’s questions most enthusiastically almost as if he wanted each student to feel the same way as him.
Recollecting his preparations for this arduous task,he spoke of the six month training he undertook with the Indian Army and the the encourangement he received from his trainers .He was so inspired that he chose to go via the China route which also happens to be longest route.
In the course of achieving his target, he unfortunately lost a friend and finger to frostbite.
His next challenge is to complete the 7th Summit Challenge.
It turned out to be a double celebration for the Laureates as it was his birthday and they had the privilege of celebrating it with him.
Mr. Madhusudan Patidar was presented with a memento by the School Director Ms.Jaya Chacko in the presence of the School Principal Dr. Anshu Deshmukh and Vice Principal Ms. Thara Nair.
