Dedication Ceremony 2017
DEDICATION CEREMONY AT LAURELS SCHOOL INTERNATIONAL, INDORE
To commence the new academic session 2017-18 on an auspicious note, a Dedication Ceremony was held at Laurels School International, Indore. The teachers, on this day, invoke the blessings of the Almighty to rededicate themselves and serve better to the humble cause. They take a vow to excel in their work.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Respected Rev. Dr. Mothy Varkey. Rev. Alexander Thomas, Rev. Jinu Eapen Kurian, Rev. Vergese T Ipe and Rev. Josy Joseph were the Guest of Honour. Chairman and Managing Director Dr John M Chacko, Director Ms Jaya Chacko, Director Ms Jennifer Chacko, Principal Dr. Anshu Deshmukh HR Head Mr. Anil Chibber and Vice – Principal Ms. Thara Nair also graced the occasion by their presence.
The programme was introduced by Ms Laghu Singh followed by the school prayer. Rev.Jinu Kurien offered special prayer to invoke the choicest blessings of the Almighty. The school Principal, Dr. Anshu Deshmukh welcomed the guests. The Psalm from The Bible was read by Ms. Ramya Nair. The school choir presented beautiful songs in the praise of the Lord.
Rev. Dr. Mothy Varkey in his address said that let the child dream to be himself as his destiny is not in the stars but in his own hands.
Rev. Alexander Thomas stressed on the purpose of education which is to prepare the child to face the world.
Rev. Jinu Eapen Kurien appealed to the teachers to educate the children in such a way that they remove the darkness of ignorance existing in the society.
According to Rev. Vergese T Ipe in the changing scenario we need to strengthen the bond with the students and make a positive impact on them.
Rev. Josy Joseph emphasised on the idea of being lighted to lighten. He said that when teachers will transform themselves only then they will be able to bring the desired transformation in the students.
The Chairman and Managing Director Dr. John M Chacko appreciated the efforts of the teachers. He said that teachers should educate the child so that he gains knowledge leading to intelligence, wisdom, and finally enlightenment.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the school Vice- Principal Ms Thara Nair.
